Comfortable studio in the historic center of Ortigia, a stone's throw from the sea. The apartment is on the ground floor of a building in a central part of the city. It consists of a single day/night area, with a modern open kitchen with everything needed for cooking, microwave, oven, kettle, and dining table. Guests will have access to a double sofa bed, a single sofa bed, and a TV A bathroom with a bathtub and hairdryer completes the layout. Iron, washing machine, and Wi-Fi are available to guests. *The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parking and enjoying the old town on foot. *Please note that the price displayed is valid for up to 2 people. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best-equipped and most beautiful beaches are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella, and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the white color of the sand. Inside the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, at a distance of about 30 km, you will find beautiful unspoiled and impervious beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its natural wildlife oasis, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. If you are interested in culture, you should visit the Greek Theatre of Syracuse, the Archaeological Park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi Museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself, with its historical, cultural and natural beauty. Not to be missed is Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to explore, and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to fill your eyes with. Catania Fontanarossa Airport is less than an hour's drive from the accommodation, while Syracuse train station is 1.7 km away.
