The main purpose of our community is to make it possible for people—regardless of background—to feel comfortable and at home with their housemates, and have the opportunity to build long-lasting, authentic relationships. To allow members the opportunity to get to know their housemates and expand their networks, we sponsor activities. One way this is done is by way of the a sponsored welcome dinner: each time a new member moves in, Our team sponsor a dinner for all housemates to get to know one another. We then hope to see our members come together and join the various other events hosted throughout the year by us or other members! As a member, you will also get exclusive access to our online community via the member app. In the app, you have the possibility to join or start an interest group and get in contact with other members in your own city and across all other cities in which We are present. Our members come from all over the world and have a big range of professions. Most members are between 25-35 yrs old, but we believe that age is just a number. Unfortunately, as the rooms are only suitable for one person, the payment should come from a single bank account. Our apartments are your home, so you can definitely have guests come over as long as everyone in the home is fine with it and you follow our guest policy. Sadly, our apartments are currently not suitable for families with kids. Smoking is only permitted outdoors, on balconies, terraces, or yards. Violations may result in fines. Members must avoid being a disturbance to others, especially during quiet hours. This includes keeping noise levels down in common areas, outdoor spaces, balconies, and terraces at designated times (after 10 pm on weeknights and midnight on weekends). Our members have an international background! They are young professionals from all around the world. Our apartments typically do not have locks on individual private rooms. This is primarily due to safety concerns since police or firefighters may need to enter the room in case of an emergency. Additionally, we provide services such as cleaning and furniture repairs/maintenance, so our operations team or technicians/plumbers may need to enter if there is an issue in a private room or if it is time for cleaning. In such cases, we will always notify the members in advance and knock on the doors before entering. Thank you for your understanding!
