Hello and welcome to Vancouver! We are a friendly Japanese and Chinese couple with two teens, have travelled extensively, hosted homestays previously, and we enjoy meeting new people from around the world. Our home is warm, comfortable, relaxed, and friendly. We live in a beautiful newer home, bright and spacious, with gorgeous main kitchen and a smaller kitchen, 4-1/2 bathrooms, a nice deck, garden, and backyard with BBQ. We also have a piano, guitar, and flute you are welcome to use. Safe neighbourhood and centrally located, makes for travel to city centre and around Vancouver and popular surrounding areas very convenient. Only a 2 minute walk to public transportation, including the skytrain that is 5 minutes away. Close to amenities including gym, yoga classes, swimming pool, rink, library, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, and parks. Your private bedroom is nicely furnished with new and comfortable twin bed and mattress with quality linen, a desk, dresser, and chair. Comfortable and warm, with good sized window, closet, and radiant heat flooring. We have high speed internet and shared in house laundry. We are an international and multilingual home - speaking English, French, Japanese, and Chinese. Living in our home currently is someone from the Ukraine and another from Syria. We look forward to hosting you in our home, and ask that you be kind and respectful, easy to get along, responsible, very clean, and have healthy lifestyle habits. Room(s): 1. No drugs. No partying. 2. Clean up promptly after themselves, especially after using the kitchen or bathroom. 3. Respect the need for quiet of other occupants of home and neighbours (eg. no loud music). 4. No outdoor shoes used in the house. 5. No deep frying of foods please. Thank you!
