Single room in friendly house

We would love to welcome you to our large Victorian family home, we have one single room available in our home for short or long stays. The room, listed as The Garden room, has a very small and basic separate shower, sink and toilet which allows for privacy, a single bed plus a pull out bed for a guest or family member to stay one night (if needed) and a chest of draws and closet. It's perfect for one person. We are only accepting female guests as our daughter stays with us at weekends with her girlfriend. The photographs show the family bathroom, kitchen, garden, single room and family living room. My husband is a musician and works from home in his studio, you can see his studio in the photo of the garden. I teach at a nearby college in Greenwich. I enjoy swimming and walking our dog. We go to see lots of live music and theatre. We have been hosting for many years and enjoy meeting new people and helping them navigate their way around London. We have a large English Bull Terrier dog called Frankie and a cat called Skip, Both are very important members of our family and very friendly. However, if you don't like dogs or have allergies maybe best to stay elsewhere. We live on the same road as Charlton railway station with easy access to shops, parks and the O2 arena. At the end of the street are local bus routes which can get you to the Jubilee Line, cinema and lido all within 5 mins. Charlton village has a park, nice pubs and good coffee shops. There are local gyms, a swimming pool, shops and cafes all in a 5 minute walking distance. We are always on hand to help and advise, we love people staying in our home and spend a lot of time in the kitchen and garden where guests are very welcome to sit with us to watch a film or to have a chat. We have travelled around the world and know how important it is to feel safe and secure. Bed linen and towels are provided. Use of the washing machine and all cooking appliances in the kitchen are included. The use of the garden is encouraged in the summer. We do have alot of friends who pop round at weekends and some evenings. I am out of the house in the week as work full time. Room(s): 1. The room is quiet amd has its own door which leads into the garden, it also has a private shower room with a toilet. . Capacity: 1 Rates: 250.00 Weekly / 800.00 Monthly House Rules: Kindness to pets at all times. We welcome our guests to have friends over, however we do not allow friends to stay over night without prior arrangement. We work in the week and get up very early. Its not unusual for us to be in bed by 10.00pm during the week.
