A loving home with lots of pets

About the House: Our home is a newly renovated, modern space situated in a safe, clean, and peaceful neighborhood. It offers all the comforts of home, equipped with top-quality appliances and necessities for a comfortable stay. The house is located within walking distance to Richmond Green Secondary School and a short drive to most of the middle schools and high schools in Richmond Hill and Markham. For guests, we provide two spacious rooms, each furnished with a desk, a cozy queen-sized bed, and a private bathroom. Both rooms have large closets and windows, offering plenty of natural light and storage space. About the Family: I understand the needs of international students because I was one myself five years ago. My partner, Joey, grew up in Canada, giving our household a balanced perspective on local culture and international experiences. We are both in our late 20s, working remotely with flexible schedules, so we’re available to support students whenever needed. Outside of work, we enjoy a variety of activities, including soccer, movies, music, and crafts. Our home is warm and welcoming, and we love spending time with our four friendly pets—two cats and two dogs—who are great companions for teenagers and adults alike. In our home, we primarily speak English, with occasional conversations in Mandarin. Joey also speaks a little French, adding another layer of cultural exposure for our students. We’re excited to provide a nurturing and comfortable environment for international students to thrive academically, socially, and personally! Room(s): 1. Quiet Hours: To ensure a restful environment for everyone, please observe quiet hours from 11 PM to 7 AM. During these times, keep noise levels to a minimum, including conversations, music, and other activities. 2. Pet Care: Please do not feed our pets any human snacks. Additionally, to ensure the well-being of our animals as well as your safety, avoid hugging or picking up the cats. 3. Trash and Recycling: Dispose of trash and recycling according to the provided guidelines in Richmond Hill. Please use the designated bins and follow any sorting instructions to help us maintain a clean and organized space.
