We are a warm, friendly, active, and welcoming family of three living in the heart of beautiful Central Lonsdale, North Vancouver. We would be delighted to welcome a female international student into our home and make her feel comfortable, safe, and part of our family. Our family consists of me, my husband, and our 25-year-old daughter. We enjoy meeting people from different countries, learning about new cultures, and sharing a positive family environment. We believe a homestay should feel like a home—not just a place to rent a room. Your Room & Bathroom You will have your own comfortable, heated private bedroom. The bathroom will be shared with our 25-year-old daughter. There is no time limit for using the bathroom. We simply ask everyone to be respectful and considerate of one another. My husband and I have our own private bathroom. A Comfortable Family Home We offer a clean, peaceful, respectful and welcoming home environment. We want our student to feel comfortable while also respecting the home and family atmosphere. There is no strict schedule for meals. However, whenever possible, we enjoy having dinner together as a family. It is a wonderful opportunity to talk, share experiences and get to know one another. Breakfast Included Breakfast items are provided, including: Cereal Toast Eggs Porridge Milk Laundry & Utilities Utilities are included Heating is included All rooms are heated Laundry is included The washing machine may be used once per week Students are responsible for cleaning and drying their dishes after use and putting them away We ask everyone to help keep the home clean and tidy House Rules To maintain a peaceful, comfortable and safe environment for everyone: Female students only No mixing of genders in the homestay No smoking No alcohol consumption in the home No outside guests or friends visiting the home We prefer students to return home by midnight so everyone can rest comfortably Please respect the home, privacy and belongings of all family members Keep shared areas clean and tidy Booking & Arrival A deposit is required before arrival to confirm the stay. After the booking is confirmed online, we request that the student provide a criminal record check before the check-in date. Long-Term Stays Welcome We are happy to welcome students for both short and longer stays. Extensions may be possible, depending on availability. We look forward to welcoming a respectful, friendly and responsible student into our home. All rooms heated Breakfast, (Cereal, toast, eggs, porridge ,milk provided). Lunch< Sandwich or left over dinner Many of the student attend schools downtown. Around 30 minute commute to downtown Vancouver.by transit. Bus stop is close by 7 minutes walking. No Smokers or Alcohol drinking students are allowed.
