Walking distance to Argyle Secondary, Carson Graham Secondary and Sutherland Secondary. Only 25 minutes by bus to Capilano University or BCIT Marine campus. Forty minutes to downtown via the scenic Seabus. Walking distance to Lynn Valley Mall or Lonsdale shops. Close by are three community centers with gym, swimming pool, many fitness classes. Two libraries are nearby. Our home is located on a quiet, tree-lined street. Homestay includes: • Private bedroom (10’ x 12') with large window with garden view • We prefer students to manage their own food. Separate fridge and storage for this. DIY with full kitchen access. Our guests usually prefer to make or buy their own meals. • Bedroom is furnished (Queen size bed, desk, chair, large closet, large dresser, lamps), and linens/towels are provided • Newly renovated bathroom shared with just one other student. • Access to large modern kitchen, large living room, and laundry, • Access to outdoor seating, decks in private treed yard • WiFi included • All utilities (water, electricity, heat) included • One small very friendly dog We are an English speaking home and have a great deal of experience hosting ESL and other students, but will also welcome a working professional. Single Room (Bedroom 2) with Shared bathroom This is a large room with a double bed, side table, big dresser, large closet, and round table that serves as a desk with comfortable chair. Good task lighting. The large window has a nice view of the treed yard, big deck and outdoor Jacuzzi. Capacity: 1 Rates: Weekly / 1200.00 Monthly House Rules: We don't have many rules but expect guests to be quiet when we are (night time), tidy and considerate. Use the kitchen (no extra charge) but leave the kitchen the way you found it. Interact with us as you wish. We are social if you want to be.
