For stays of over 3 months, method will be discussed. Please note that I accept only international students registered in a Canadian school, college or university, or those doing their internships in Canada, and preferably female. I reserve the right to accept male students on a case by case basis. Please do not make a request if you do not meet these criteria. A government-issued ID will be required upon checking in. My house is a 2-storey detached brick. There are two bedrooms being rented out on the 2nd floor and 2 rooms in the basement. The full bathroom upstairs is shared with the other student, and the one in the basement is also shared. The kitchen is on the main floor. It is bright and spacious with a breakfast area and is shared with the other students and myself. My home is in a quiet and safe residential area that is close to all amenities - shopping, entertainment, the bus terminal, central library, public and private schools, hospitals. Some schools that are close to the area are: Sheridan College Hazel McCallion Campus, University of Toronto Mississauga, Lambton College, Metalworks Institute & Heartland International English School. As well, some of the major international businesses hold office in Mississauga, like BASF, Oracle, Continental Tires, Purolator, MSN, HP, Nokia Siemens, Bell Canada/ Mobility and are a bus ride (or bicycle ride) away. I like to spend time in the garden and travel and enjoy the exchange of cultural nuances that comes from hosting international students. I ask students to do their part in maintaining the cleanliness of the house and for respecting my homestay guidelines. I require MINIMUM 2 week's notice for stays of up to 3 months, and 2 months' notice for stays longer than 3 months, if you are moving out earlier than your original requested date. Failure to do this will mean forfeiture of any remaining rent already paid out. For stays longer than 3 months, I require 2 months' rent paid upon arrival. Thank you. Room(s): 1. It has a single bed, a side table and lamp, computer desk and lamp, and big closet space. The bathroom and a full size fridge are shared with another student. Capacity: 1 Rates: Weekly / 820.00 Monthly House Rules: For stays of 3 months and less, I require full payment upon check-in by cash or e-transfer. I will be providing and discussing a homestay guide which will give more details on these house rules: Please keep our home secure and make sure the front door is locked when leaving and re-entering. Please maintain cleanliness everywhere and at all times. Be respectful for other members of the household at all times. Be considerate of the next person who will use the common areas and clean up after each use. The kitchen is available for eating meals and snacks up to 10PM daily. Guests are requested to be home by 10PM daily. Please call or text me ahead of time if you will be home later. Please do not adjust the heat settings. Please do not invite strangers into our home. I require MINIMUM 2 week's notice for stays of up to 3 months, and 2 months' notice for stays of longer than 3 months, if you are leaving earlier than your originally requested move-out date. Otherwise the remainder of the rent will be forfeited. I require 2 months' rent for stays longer than 3 months to be paid upon arrival.
