Golden Ears National Park Homestay

Hello, welcome to beautiful British Columbia, Canada. My wife and I are immigrants from Singapore and we live in Maple Ridge, a neighborhood that is close to Golden Ears National Park. Nearby there are numerous restaurants, stores and amenities. One of the highlights in the area is a horse riding facility, a mere 5 minute drive from our home. We are a 10 minute drive away from Meadowridge School, Maple Ridge Town Centre and a 20 minute drive away from the tri-cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody). My wife and I speak English, Chinese and Cantonese. We enjoy interacting and embracing people of all cultures. In our spare time, we enjoy cooking and eating well. We are both Christians and we attend church regularly. My wife and I have had the pleasure of being a homestay parent to a Chinese national student for a year. Our room is equipped with the following: • A queen-sized bed, fresh linens, down comforter • A set of towels • A desk with a chair and lights • A dresser and a closet • A laundry basket • A 3/4 height mirror Our homestay also includes the following: • 3 healthy meals served daily (light breakfast, brown bag lunch and dinner) • High speed wireless internet • Shared bathroom and Kitchen You may also wish to note the following rules during the homestay: • Be respectful • No parties • No pets • No smoking • No drug abuse on property • No alcoholic drinks allowed inside and outside the house • Clean up after yourself in the room, bathroom and common areas.
