Central Vancouver Homestay – Steps to Transit & Lougheed Welcome to our warm and welcoming homestay in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood. A bus stop is right in front of our home, with only a 6-minute bus ride to Lougheed SkyTrain Station, giving you fast access to all of Metro Vancouver. We are next to The City of Lougheed, with shopping, restaurants, gyms, libraries, parks, grocery stores, Korean Town, and movies just minutes away. Single Room (Room 1) with Shared bathroom This room is on our main floor and has a very comfy double bed to welcome one guest. It is a very comfortable and bright bedroom. Capacity: 1 Rates: 310.00 Weekly / 1150.00 Monthly 2. Double Room (2) with Shared bathroom This room is in the main floor. Lots of sunlight. Capacity: 2 Rates: 320.00 Weekly / 1180.00 Monthly 3. Single Room (Bedroom 3) with Shared bathroom Capacity: 1 Rates: 310.00 Weekly / 1150.00 Monthly House Rules: We’re thrilled to have you! To ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, please review our house rules carefully. ? General Housekeeping    •   Close & Lock: Ensure windows and doors are closed and locked when leaving your room and the house. Turn off lights.    •   Keys: If you are given a house key, you are responsible for replacing it on departure or paying $5.    •   Cleanliness: Keep your room and shared spaces tidy.    •   Quiet Hours: Please minimize noise after 10 PM.    •   Visitors: No visitors allowed for privacy and security. ? Bathroom Guidelines    •   Shower: Limit to once a day. Avoid showering between 9 PM – 6 AM.    •   Time Limit: Max 15 minutes per shower (shared bathroom).    •   Personal Supplies: Bring your own shampoo, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.    •   Safety: Keep the floor dry to prevent slips.    •   Fan: Use the bathroom fan while showering. Ask Monica if you need assistance. ? Laundry    •   Laundry Days: Once per week (day confirmed upon arrival).    •   Instructions: Monica will show you how to use the facilities and provide detergent.    •   Responsibility: Please care for your own laundry. ? Payment Details    •   Deposit: 50% required 14 days before arrival.    •   Full Payment: Due 7 days before arrival.    •   Payment Methods: PayPal or e-transfer.    •   Extended Bookings: Payment processed on the first day of the month based on check-in.    •   Cancellations: Payments are non-refundable if you shorten your stay. ? Garbage & Recycling    •   Sorting: Follow Canadian recycling regulations (ask Monica if unsure).    •   Collection Days:       •   Compost, cardboard, paper, plastic: every Monday       •   General garbage: every second Monday    •   Put Out Garbage: By 8:00 AM on collection days. ? Allergy Awareness    •   Our family has a severe peanut allergy. Please avoid peanuts in the kitchenette and public areas. You may eat peanut products in your room but ensure no residue is left behind. ? Basement Kitchen Use    •   Deposit: $50 damage deposit (refunded if no damage).    •   Use: Prepare simple meals or reheat food. Mini fridge, microwave, kettle, and sink are shared.    •   Hours:       •   Breakfast: 7 AM – 9 AM       •   Lunch: 11:45 AM – 1:15 PM       •   Dinner: 5 PM – 6:30 PM    •   Clean Up: Must clean the kitchenette after use. ? Home Gym    •   Hours:       •   Monday–Friday: 7 AM – 9:30 PM       •   Saturday–Sunday: 8:30 AM – 9:30 PM    •   Rules: Wipe down equipment, use weights only on foam floor, and leave the gym as you found it. ? Smoking    •   Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the home. Host is a non-smoker.    •   Nightly rate: charged per night per room.    •   Check-in: from 3:00 PM | Check-out: by 11:00 AM    •   Late arrivals: welcome if you let us know in advance (after 10:00 PM).    •   Early check-in / late check-out: possible with notice; small fee may apply.
