Lovely room in the heart of Fitzroy

Room in a friendly Fitzroy terrace, heart of the neighbourhood between Brunswick St and Smith St. Surrounded by lively cafes, bars and restaurants. Excellent tram links (11, 86, 96) to the city in 15 minutes. I'm a disability support worker, so I work most days including weekends. In my downtime, I enjoy socialising with friends, hanging out with my cat Annie, and working on short films. I'm looking for guests who are happy to chat but also respect quiet evenings and nights. Please help keep shared spaces clean and tidy. Check-in times need to work around my schedule, I'm home most mornings (except Wednesdays and Fridays) and most evenings, as long as you give me prior notice. Due to pricing differences for singles versus couples, overnight guests are not permitted. There is on street parking in the local area. If you have a vehicle, I can give you a visitor's parking permit on arrival. There is a clothes washer and clothesline. Although there is no dryer, so on rainy weeks I use the local laundromat for drying. You're welcome to borrow my bike and helmet to explore the fantastic local bike routes, though please note I hold no liability for your health and safety while using the bike. I'm looking for guests who can stay at least a week, or ideally until the end of my tenancy on 5 July 2026, when the property will be vacated for a film project. Room(s): 1. Double Room (Front bedroom) with Shared bathroom Furnished room with Queen bed, wardrobe, drawers and desk. Lovely street views overlooking the garden and porch. Plenty of natural light with blackout blinds and curtains. Decorative items shown are departing; all furniture stays. Capacity: 2 Rates: 385.00 Weekly / 1550.00 Monthly House Rules: Payment needs to be made in advance to secure the booking. This can be done via bank transfer, the booking is not confirmed until payment has been made. If you wish to cancel, I need 72 hours notice. If you provide less than 72 hours notice, I will take 3 nights payment and refund the rest. Please do not let the cat out of the house. She has cat netting over the backyard so that she can safely access the whole house without going on the street. Please leave all common areas as you found them, cleaning up after yourself and washing cooking pans/utensils so they can be used by myself. There is a dishwasher for plates/bowls/cutlery. If you want to have visitors, all I ask is that you let me know and ask if it's okay before arranging them to come over. Overnight guests are not permitted. I'm a friendly outgoing person, and I'm always up for a chat. I will give you a tour of the house and explain the house rules properly in person when you arrive.
